Metasearch is a new breed of "hybrid"  websites that display real time information to customers, about your hotel,  from several different sources, mainly OTA's. Rates and availability from your hotel website can also appear, if you are connected to and advertising on these websites.

 
Who are the key players for the hotel market?

There are lots but Google Hotel Finder, Trivago, Trip Advisor are the three most important websites, with the largest market share. Others include; Hotel Combined and Ireland.com (for the Irish market).


Why are meta search sites so popular?

Consumers are flocking to meta search sites, because they can compare rates and availability for a hotel, from a variety of websites on one web page and get the lowest rate faster!


Why should I consider advertising my website on these meta search websites?
